Coldwell Banker Commercial KGA is the brainchild of Graig Griffin and Steve Kemp. Both have extensive industry experience and have worked for both large and small firms, local and international, corporate and casual. We wanted to build a commercial real estate firm that captured the benefits of each. Our goal was to create a company that had the most capable and motivated agents, absolute state-of-the-art technology, a high degree of mobility and adaptability, and an office environment that was fun and comfortable.
Because we believe that commercial real estate agents should be IN the commercial real estate business, every KGA agent owns commercial real estate. We have created a system that assists our agents in acquiring their own properties by providing compensation flexibility, legal and tax assistance, and our expertise. We also allow our agents to participate in deals with our clients when the opportunity arises. The result – our team has a better perspective on deals: how to find them, how to build them, and how to close them. They gain understanding of the ownership experience and are able to relate to clients’ issues. We believe that by making our team more insightful, they will build better relationships and do better deals.
KGA technology is in many cases superior to even the largest firms. We do our own cartography, our own oblique aerial photography, and our own graphic work – all 100% digital. Our computers are custom-built to our specifications, and our imaging equipment is the best available. Our GIS capability is superb; we interface directly with engineers, planners, and municipalities. We have the ability to produce extrapolated information in such areas as demographics, consumer patterns, and growth trends. Each tool we produce is created to convey the most information in the most accurate and understandable format. Our understanding of these tools and the sales process means we can create better marketing materials, better persuasion.
Maximum exposure creates maximum value, meaning that the more people that see your property in a persuasive fashion, the more likely you are to get the most value from it. Our entire marketing structure is geared toward this end. It is a myth that the biggest companies can give you better exposure. In truth, statistics prove that in most markets, the bulk of the deals are done by the “little guys.” With modern internet technology, access to information is equal, and the most effective placement areas (Internet Databases) are available to all. We also fully cooperate with any outside broker, and have designed our process with them in mind. We want to be easy to do business with, and always provide even inexperienced outside agents the tools they will need to properly understand your property.
