Not many people in their late 30's can say that they have over 30 years of experience in Real Estate; Jeff Fargo is one of them. Born into a family with extensive commercial holdings (Roseland Amusement Park, Roseland Bowl, The Lakeshore Party House, Lakeside Trailer Park, Brentwood Student Housing) and 80 percent of the North Shore of Canandaigua Lake (Canandaigua, NY), his earliest memories consist of sitting in heavy equipment that was used by his family to build a Sheraton Inn, and riding in his Grandfathers truck looking at speculative investments.
Graduating from Canandaigua Academy in 1987, Jeff attended Saint John Fisher College where he played football and lacrosse, and double majored in Political Science and Communications/Journalism until his graduation in 1992.
Upon Graduation, Jeff moved to New York City to hone his skills in one of the most competitive sales environments on the planet, he worked as a sales associate with Asher Personnel Consultants until 1993 where he made 80-100 daily cold calls in soliciting administrative positions. Jeff then worked as an outside sales representative for MCS/Canon, Inc., where he developed and maintained a guarded territory in Manhattan at over 125% of his monthly quota.
In 1994 Jeff's family asked him to come home to assist in management of the existing real estate portfolio as well as to development raw land. For over ten years Jeff worked with some of the best and brightest minds in real estate development and finance on site prep, entitlement, and development. In 2003 Jeff decided to apply his commercial real estate experience to endeavors outside of his own holdings and became licensed as a sales associate with McMillan Realty Inc., he then formed his own real estate company, Fargo Properties Inc. After liquidating family holdings in 2007, Jeff made the move to one of the United States most dynamic real estate markets by relocating to St. George, Utah.
Jeff was hired as an Associate Broker by Coldwell Banker Commercial KGA in 2006 to work as a Senior Broker in the Retail/Office Division. Jeff's networking capabilities are tirelessly at work via the Red Rock Rotary Club, Southern Utah Networkers, and on a national level via The Urban Land Institute. When he isn't working within the Washington County Market, Jeff is in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, positioning himself as a trusted resource along the Interstate-15 corridor. Jeff is involved as an agent in several properties, including: The Park at Paradise Canyon, Bloomington Executive Suites, and raw land opportunities throughout Southern Utah.
City of Canandaigua Master Plan (Canandaigua NY) - Jeff was invited by the Mayor of Canandaigua to assist in the general plan of the Commercial Lakefront corridor.
Canandaigua Lakefront Development Corp. (Founding Member) - Jeff worked with the CEO's and Executives of Wegmans Food Markets, Canandaigua National Bank, Constellation Brands, Conifer Realty, LLC., and Wendy's Restaurants of Rochester , Inc in the planning of Canandaigua's Commercial Lakefront. In 2007 the group announced a $120MM phase one plan that is currently under review.
